This is what I wore to the flea market last weeekend, it has warmed back up a lot here

Mid 80's, eww! Does anyone LIKE such a hot weather? I know I don't. Comne onnn, fall.

The only thing I purchased was a little gold bee for my wall. It was a good day though..

I was waiting & waiting to cross the road and a guy waited and waited, too, and then he goes

"go on!  but only because you're wearing that hat" haha.. then some girl points me up and down

and goes"I think you look so cute".. Where I live people usually just stare and make me feel odd

so it's really nice to get a compliment. Well, it's really always a nice thing to get a compliment!

I take photos of things that catch my eye or have a nostalgic feel. I do wish I had a better camera!

I am currently using a DSC-W55, which is fancy talk for "Sony Cyber-shot digital camera".

I've had it for years.. I just don't have the money for an awesome one right now, eep!

Anyway.. I almost left my little gold bee when I went to photograph a real bee and nature haha

Aren't the little antique vintage pouches.. magical? Yes, that's the word, I think.

I wish I had asked the vendor more about them.. I think I was trying to keep from falling in love haha

As for the girl, I can't imagine that ever being anything other than sort of creepehhh, you?

But I like her. She seems not to let no arms get her down, and I like that.

So! I've been absent again. I really feel bad when I don't come by here and at least read and respond to comments. I've been a tiny bit ill, and my dog as well.. we're dealing with

"interdigital furuncles" which is fancy talk for 'cysts' between puppies toes!

glamorous! >.<

I've decided to try an at-home appoach before going to the vet. Up to 8 weeks of antibiotics can get expensive plus that's a lot of medication.. Here's what we are doing instead:

          

         

           

          

         

         

So, you can see in the second photo a bit of the problem I am battling here.

That is all of what I am using to treat it, except I changed to a stickier masking tape.

Basically, it's epsom salt soak in warm water for ten minutes which she is okay with as long as you give the ocassional head scratch! followed by an ointment

and bandages of gauze. I have only done it twice and already seen a big improvement

in both the "cysts" and in her mood altogether, more playful! (except for the little

foot wraps.. she could be happier about that, I think haha)

... 

Anyway, I have still been working on getting things into my shop.

I'll be putting those shoes and the bag in there tomorrow, I think.

They really are lovely, I just have so many things..

BUT! I love sharing my finds, so it's okay.

I hope everyone is well. How is the weather where you are? It's getting crisply autumnal here in the south but who knows if it'll last.. I'll keep the summer clothing out for now, as usual~

I'm alive!

I have been slacking here at okaybones, and for this, I apologize. 

I was just about to do a post when I realized... It's Saturday!

This means I can go to the flea market here that is open only on weekends.

I like to look at all the puppies and farm animals and scour through the old vintage jewelry 

from the 80's & 90's. 

There's also a few spots that sell super kawaii things from Asia for the cheap ^.^

I'll surely post later on (maybe even of some finds!?); 

for now, here's a picture of my (very sleepy) dog, Lucy:

 Maybe it's just that 'mothers love', but I think she's the absolute cutest ever.

I think only one, mmmaybe two, of my posts don't showcase the color red. I am never aware of my love for it really, but it is very apparent in my closet. I'm a fan of classic shapes, prints,  ect. so this dress and its adornments make me pretty happy. I love rediscovering items that I've owned for years and forgotten about and putting them to new use, like the bag I am carrying above. I remember placing the seemingly odd vintage bag I received years ago as a gift  from my aunt into a closet after thinking  

'What am I to do with this?'

 and there it sat, and sat, and sat.. Until now! I'm glad I kept it.

It's such an adorable classic bag with it's gold button details and boxy shape.

I plan to use it plenty this winter with dresses, tights, and classy coats.

yay for lost (and found) treasures!
